11Year Old Single Barrel
122 Proof
Nose: Cinnamon, cherry and vanilla appear up front. This is a very subdued nose considering the proof of this bourbon. After 10 minutes (and adding some water) buttered popcorn and caramel make their way underneath the warming spice of nutmeg and cinnamon.
Taste: Fruit, cherry and warming spices. Caramel comes under the spice with an aggressive wood tannin on display. This bourbon needs to calm down with some water. The water enhances the flavor and viscosity. A buttery mouth feel with underlying hints of dark chocolate round out the whiskey.
Finish: Long and dry with hints of white pepper and leather.
Overall: It’s a very good bourbon with some of the heat taking away from it becoming very special. Water helps round out the flavor. The finish is long and lingering.

Very enjoyable as most of Parker’s Heritage. I enjoy my bourbon to have the flavor of caramel, vanilla, spice and a little oak . I am getting that when I enjoy Parker’s Heritage.
Fantastic
